Ditto for me. Good luck with deciding and am looking forward to seeing the finished product

at jo anns there is a fabric that looks like the red one. I think that a black boarder in the same pattern as the red would look wonderful and give it a real good finished look. but that is me. if between the two fabrics i would go with the first because it is different. but that is just me.

My thoughts exactly. If you use the fabric or even a close color in your border the border and pieces will bleed over and you will not see the overall design. Try to use a dif color in the inner border. I love the quilt--perfect for a child.

Thanks again so much for all of your opinions and ideas! They have all been helpful! I will get the top all together, then decide on the border. I'll let you all know what I decide to do!!
Happy quilting everyone! :-D

I like both but B has more to look at. I would use the yellow if you have enough to bind it. That would set if off. That is just my opinon. I have no grandchildren or have even made a quilt for baby. So take it for what it is worth. lol

I think the 1st is better, not busy like the 2nd one.
Very vibrant & pretty colors you have there.

I like B, but maybe you should try a more solid looking matching blue.
