I like the idea of a purple, but I don't want an excuse to buy more fabric. I'd rather use what I have. And I'm concerned that purple sashing will be too much against a very deep purple wall. You have no idea how much it took for us to decide to go with a purple wall! We're normally terrified of color on walls, and apparently we went nuts in this room!

The borders can be something entirely different (lighter) so that the piece will stand out against the wall. The green is too much green, the white isn't enough contrast. I'd go with something textural for the outside borders that you pull from inside the quilt blocks. Lovely blocks!

When I first looked, I thought purple too.
The green would blend too much for my taste. I guess I would have to choose the white but really I wouldn't choose that either. Even a darker shade of green would be more to my taste than the white but I would definitely rule out the seafoam green.

If those are your only two choices, white is it. If you happen to have either a darker green or purple in your stash, that would be my first choice and then use the lighter colors for a boarder around it all. This would then set it off more on the dark purple wall.
