I tried to make sense of this post, but this is the best I could do.

There is one pattern called either The Eye of God or Gods Eye,it can be found in the quilters cache pattern site. It is a beautiful block and if I'm not mistaken can be made 24".

I wanted to make a special quilt for two of my high school teacher nuns. They have both retired and I do not live near them but have stayed in contact with them for over 40 years. I ended up making them both a star quilt in their favorite colors. One was blue and one was green. I mailed them in a package to one of the nuns. The other one did not know I had made them. Both were so happy and loved the patterns. Sorry to say one of the nuns only had her quilt for two or three month. You know what ever quilt you make her will be special for her too.

Footprints in the Sand Anita Good design would work fast as it is quilted as you go.

I like the blocks dakotamaid gave you the link for. One of my favorite songs at Mass is "On Eagle's Wings" and there's a block in her link called "Wings of Eagles".
That fabric is really cute. I think I've seen a picture of my cousin wearing a similar habit!
Still working on ideas so thanks everyone. Saw a picture on Quiltville's FB page that appeared to be a simple, regular quilt block that had black piping of some sort between all the pieces of the block, maybe that is the way I wil go.
Oh well, I think I will go look some more!

I know Rosemary will appreciate whatever I make. She is very supportive of our decisions to work our talents.
We lost contact with her for many years, but she stayed in contact with my Grandma (her Aunt) and when she was home for Grandma's funeral she stayed at our house. We had some very meaningful conversations at this time and we are very happy she is back in our lives.
