My aunt Gladys made pillowcases and other things using this pattern in the 50s and 60s. I still have 2 pair, one of which I have never used. She passed away in 2003 at age 93.

these are so charming and in a very good shape, I have inherited some 30s, 40s fabrics, they are very stiff even after repeated washing. the only quilt I could manage was a simple 9 patches, but quilting it was an ordeal, yours look soft and still vibrant.

I was going to say that some of these fabrics look like feedsacks I used to wear as a child in the late 40's and 50's.

FYI- If they are feed sack fabric, they will feel a little thicker and a bit coarser than modern fabrics.

I can't add anything to the discussion, but they're great looking blocks and I hope you'll show us the finished project.

They are beautiful! I am fairly certain they are not '50s. I'm a little old lady and worked selling fabric in the '50s and these are not familiar. My guess is the '30s or '40s. If I had these blocks, I would never give them away!!

I agree that the blocks are not Sunbonnet Sue.

40s. My grandmother used some of those in my dresses.
