I think the 10-minute quilt block is just like a cathedral window when you pin down the curves and ever so much easier, plus you can do it on the machine. I can't do hand work because of neuropathy in my fingers.

I have seen Cathedral Windows done with print fabric and it can work. What colors are you using for the centers?

What a wonderful way to be with your family and still keep your hands busy! the cathedral window is a beautiful pattern. I have the fabrics for one stashed - my special project for after I finish quilts for everyone else!

I have always wanted to try and cathedral windows but it looks so difficult. Maybe one of these days. I also like to have something to do when I sit down. I don't sit too much but it would be nice to feel like I was still doing something when sitting.
