I like the Primitive Pinwheel Tool best, then I like Lil' Twister. I find I have more versatility with the Primitive Pinwheel Tool. Not only that, but I don't have to buy as much fabric for each project. I don't worry about waste because I've figured out multiple ways to have virtually no waste with any size ruler.

Me too. Do you think you could figure this out without buying the pattern? I think you probably could especially if you've done a twister in the past. I can't get to one for a bit because I have 3 projects on the go right now. I think the first quilt with the sashing shown, could make a really cool table runner don't you?

The twister tree and wreath I think are sperate patterns. I received 2 of these cute little tools for christmas, but haven't had a chance to try it out... BEEN to busy finishing a few things that got set aside during the holidays. Have I caught up??? Anyone who is a quilter -sewer knows the answer to that one !! Have a great day :-)

Lil' Twister uses 5" blocks and Primitive Pinwheels Tool uses 3 1/2" squares, and Primitive Pinwheels Itty Bitty Tool uses 2 1/2" squares. CS Designs made the Twister Rulers and then allowed Primitive Gatherings to put out the 2 smaller sizes called Primitive Pinwheels. I hope that answers your questions.

With Twister you sew 5" squares, and the Primitive Pinwheel you sew 3 1/2" squares together. Your Lil Twister is too big, you won't be able to make it work, sorry. :-(
