Here's how dumb I am... is the Primitive Pinwheel also a Twister tool? Really... I'm not normally so clueless but like I said earlier, this tool is just unkown to me. But the quilts it makes are so neat! Thanks!

Me too. Do you think you could figure this out without buying the pattern? I think you probably could especially if you've done a twister in the past. I can't get to one for a bit because I have 3 projects on the go right now. I think the first quilt with the sashing shown, could make a really cool table runner don't you?

Jacque, do you own a shop or is this Checker newsletter for anyone. I used to work in a shop and loved doing Checker orders, and looking at all their new stuff. I miss it so much.

BEEN to busy finishing a few things that got set aside during the holidays. Have I caught up??? Anyone who is a quilter -sewer knows the answer to that one !! Have a great day :-)

Lil' Twister uses 5" blocks and Primitive Pinwheels Tool uses 3 1/2" squares, and Primitive Pinwheels Itty Bitty Tool uses 2 1/2" squares. CS Designs made the Twister Rulers and then allowed Primitive Gatherings to put out the 2 smaller sizes called Primitive Pinwheels. I hope that answers your questions.

Thanks so much for your quick answer Jen. I have the twister template so I think I can use it to make the Primitive Pinwheel 3 1/2" square, right?

With Twister you sew 5" squares, and the Primitive Pinwheel you sew 3 1/2" squares together. Your Lil Twister is too big, you won't be able to make it work, sorry. :-(
