I'm in the midst of one of those phases right now. I think my problem is that I moved the sewing machine from the living room to a spare room. Now I feel isolated cause there's no company and no TV. Been talking to DH about getting one in the room for me. Hope that helps. I'm feeling guilty about all the projects that are just sitting there!

I am like that all the time. I made my first quilt(which was awful by the way) and then I read. And I read. And I talked a lot about it, and my family hated it ;) And THEN I made another one, and am currently annoyed because I have a grandmothers flower garden that has a lot of hand work, and aside from hand quilting, I really do not like handwork....

I call it burnout and always make a scrappy baby quilt for charity to get me going again. I love short projects, lately making a tool caddy that I can put a small mat, rotary cutter, pencil, small ruler etc... in.

Use those 4" squares to do a disappearing nine patch...it's my current favorite and there are so many different patterns to make from it. Just 'google' 'disappearing nine patch' for instructions and samples. It's super-easy and quick. I hope you love it as much as everyone in our guild did when I hosted a class on it!
