I do believe I also will be opening a paypal account to relieve the stress of going through a situation like this again.

I made two orders online 5 days apart. The company that we have all been talking about and another online store. I order first from the one we talked about and 5 days later from the fabric depot. Fabric Depot's order arrive yesterday (Way to go Fabric Depot---fast and accurate---love it). I still have not received the order from doxie.

BUT yesterday I sent doxie an email with receipt and stated my case, they kindly emailed me today and apologized for lack of response. They promised to immediately ship my order. I hope I am not being over naive but I hope they will fulfill their word.

I DO KNOW that I will shop at Fabric Depot more often. Fabric Depot rocks!!

Debit cards and stores going out of business - a bad combination.

I should have known. Always looking for the best in people (let down to often and should change my ways.)

I worked in the credit filed for several years. Call your credit card company. The seller is not allowed to charge your card until the item is shipped. Once you file a notice with the credit card company they will attempt to contact the company. If they get teh same response you do (none) they will probably take care of issuing back a credit for you until the seller responds. hope that helps.

Maybe everyone will get their fabric or items ordered.

Wonder if we will all hear back from them? I gave up calling after I filed my claim, but still have no responses to my VM's or emails. I told the bank that if they send the fabric, I will cancel the claim, so cross my fingers!

I got that email too... saying that she was ill. But since then I have tried several more times to get an update/status via emails. She has not responded. I felt I had no other choice, so I went to the bank yesterday and filed a claim due to merchandise never being delivered (ordered 1/6) and her lack of response. ( I so needed that fabric for my son's friend's birthday coming up fast). I am so mad that it would take someone almost a month to ship (let alone --acknowledging an email).

I ordered from doxieshop on 1/11 and emailed a few weeks after that 3 times. I finally got a response that she was sick the whole month of January. Now that she responded to my email I am hoping my fabric comes. I will keep you posted. I like to give people the benefit of doubt but ... If she can't keep up take the website down until all the orders are filled.
