I tried to google Beverly's and didn't get anything. Could you share a website please?

I find that Marshalls dry goods has good backing at reasonable prices and different widths.

My favorite is Thousands of Bolts. I've purchased many kits from Connecting Threads and Craftsy and the fabric has always been excellent quality. I had a bad experience with some backing fabric purchased at a LQS. It faded terribly when washed. It's all a crapshoot I guess.

I've ordered from Backside Fabrics - they will send samples - it's been a while, but I don't think I paid for the samples.

I buy from Keepsake Quilting, Hancock's of Paducah, connecting threads and Nancy's notions. Every thing I have ordered from these places have been beautiful and lovely to work with.

Try Fabric4Less.com. Their 108" wide backs are $5.75/yard. You do have to buy the whole bolt which is about 15 yards, but considering the price, it may be worth it. You have to set up a log-in, but that is free. I have purchased three bolts from them and have had no problem yet.

I have bought decent wide backing from Hobby Lobby and Hancock's with a 30 or 40 percent coupon and been pleased with it

Fabric.com is my #1; easy/free returns if you get something that is not the color or scale you anticipated; quality has always been excellent, even though they did not respond to my email inquiring if they sell only first quality fabric. The minimum they sell is 1 yard. For folks desiring smaller quantities, I'd recommend Fabric Shack and Fabric Depot. When I can splurge--Hawthorne Threads, where they have a unique search feature to search by color shade.
