To GingerK You know, that's a good point. I actually thought that was going to look weird. Now, for the problem, I don't have any fabric left. How would it be if I just made the whole thing shorter and used some of those strips to stagger? For example, if I cut some of the strips in thirds, I could stagger them with the 2 regularly sized strips.
(45" 15" 45")
(15, 45, 45)
(45, 45, 15)
Something like that?

I have been saving for over one year now Jelly Rolls - 2-1/2" wide to make a strip quilt. I want to make mine big - hang way over the side big - I have about 9 rolls now and am going to start working on it this winter. I made a foot quilt for my husband a few years ago and it was fun. One question - when you use more than one jelly roll, do you cut 18" of the first piece off each roll, or do you just cut it once at the beginning when you start sewing them all together. I am really looking forward to this. Wish us all luck, we who are embarking on a strip quilt. Edie
