Thanks all, I was really not liking that blue at all. I did think since the sashing was dark brown and white, that maybe I could use the blue print as a corner square in the sashing, but, I think I'm gonna have to agree with you all and take out that blue completely.

You know, I sort of like the blue, if you put some of that blue in the border too. But, why don't you ask the bride? I think that would be a wise thing to do. If she selected the colors and the pattern, it might be exactly what she was thinking of.

The blue just doesn't go as one grouping in the center. I would add more of the blue alternating with the dark in a border to bring it all together. This is one of my favorite patterns.

I would show it to your niece and see what she thinks after all she is the one you want to please. Color combination was difficult that she gave you. Good Luck !!

I would also take out that blue. I think if you look for a blue in the Kansas Troubles line of fabric, you may be able to incorporate the blue just fine, as those blues are generally a deeper, darker blue --and you may even be able to find a blue with a rust print in it so it mixes perfectly.

Hi Linda,

I see that you've made a decision. Show us what you decide to use I'm so curious now.

I agree. Either take out the blue or experiment with a solid blue. Your blue is wrong color or maybe just too busy. It just looks a little off. It's going to be beautiful in the end so don't give up.
