    The shasing would be a must if it was one that I was working on. highlights the colors and pattern

    I like it with the sashing --defines the size of each block.

    Both are lovely but I think without sashing it could be a little busy. The black makes it pop

    I think either way it will look great. If it were mine though, I'd skip the sashing. I like the woven look when there is no sashing.

    Those blocks are magnificent. I really think that the narrow sashing on the first picture helps to define the pattern in the blocks. Without the sashing, they get sort of muddled up together. I wouln't use a sashing wider than about 1 inch finished though. GOOD JOB!
