Your blocks are gorgeous but the white sashing just seems to fade out the brilliance of the colors. I would definitely use sashing but in a black or dark color to bring out your fabulous fabrics and patterns. I can't wait to see the finished quilt!

I like it without the sashing too, but if you do small black sashings would psrobably work best in my opinion. Love the quilt, wow

I would use a navy/dark blue or black sashing to accent your lovely bright blocks.

Definitely a dark sashing and not white. But the blocks without sashing hurts my eyes.

I am firmly in the dark sashing camp. Love it...post pics when you are done.

what a wonderfully colorful quilt. i luv free spirit fabrics and to me if you want to keep bright and colorful you can leave the blocks as is. but if you decide to use a sashing use something with color like a deep orange or a turquoise or a blue, one of the colors in the block in a blender or marble print. why tame the colors? they were meant to speak up.

this is a bright colorful quilt that is currently on my planning board and i have started cutting squares for it. i don't plan to tame or tone down the colors one bit with blacks, whites or dark blues. i plan to let the colors sing in all their glory.

Sashing would be nice, but not white, I would use a colored one, probably a solid

I love all the bright fabrics. If it were mine I would sash it with black to really make the colors pop.

Gorgeous blocks! I'd use sashing but not with white. The white just doesn't seem to "fit." Like some of the others have suggested, a royal or dark blue would be lovely!

I would sash but I think a coordinating colour would be better than white. Love the bright colours
