    Default Paper-Pieced feathered star pattern

I have pieced two feathered star quilts. Was wondering if there is a great paper-pieced pattern for this quilt?

oh, yes! please google feathered star quilts and look at the images. Check out Canton Village Quiltworks for patterns and great fabrics. Not affiliated, just a fan.

Marsha McCloskey has written several books on Feathered Stars. Maybe your library has them.

I can't remember if her books have templates or are paper-pieced.

Judy Niemeyer has several PP patterns for Feathered Stars, although they look slightly different from the traditional feathered star. Her patterns include the papers, that is why they are so expensive.

Depending on what your skill level is, Judy Niemeyer has come out recently with some new patterns and fabric line from Timeless Treasures.

I recently made a feather star quilt form a book called " scaling down" by Trudy hughes. Actually the pattern was not that hard due it was all HST. I actually think that this pattern was easier than one done in paper peicing. this is a great book since it had 12 different centers and matching border for the block.
