What ever it is that you decide to make/use for your carry firearm, I was wondering if something like Insul-Bright heat resistant batting would be sturdy enough, would hold up well enough, to be used on the inside of your carry item? Also, Thermaflek type fabrics, the shiny silver fabrics on the one side of the hot pads, might make some good lining. Aren't these types of fabrics and batting "sturdier" than the cotton fabrics sold for quilting? Besides silver/gray, these fabric types come in various colors.

Well now, this is an interesting topic! I do have a hand gun but not the concealed permit yet, just the required safety course. But it will benefit me the most out in the country if im alone outside doing gardening, etc. Will have to watch this post to see what everybody has finally find out on the pattern. Hmmm, nowadays would be smart to have at anytime...maybe i need to take a defenseive course !

I bought a "fanny pack" years ago that has a drop zipper that when pulled releases teh front panel and your right hadn can grab the gun. Looks like a little fanny pack. Left hand pulls the release, right hand the gun, Would work for a smaller gun not a huge one. LOL Only thing I ever had to "Draw out" on was a copperhead in my back yard. ROFL.

I have a pattern on Etsy for a concealed carry purse. I also make a pattern to alter a purse pattern to a concealed carry pattern. It's under Redneckmoms, just search Concealed Carry Purse Pattern on Etsy.

Help. I thought this thread was about a concealed carry purse. That is a purse that is hidden visually and keeps your money safe. If this is the case any small clutch type bag under your clothes could be used..

A pocket cut to size made out of a flexible cutting board for stability, covered in fabric of your choice with a tape measure snap closure. Sew it inside your bag. Done.

Dotty- grammar modifier issue... LOL. It's not the purse that's concealed; it's the firearm. "Concealed Carry" is a term that is used for how the firearm is permitted to be carried by the individual
