Rub with Ivory soap and soak the spot several hours. Us gals should also have on hand a favorite method of removing "personal" stains -- I still have part of a bottle of something from Victoria's Secret even though I'm past menopause.

I had the same thing happen, peroxide worked. Chewing up a piece of thread! Who knew??

Hydrogen Peroxide will definitely remove blood stains! Ask me how I know! There are some other things that work on different stuff, but peroxide is a certain item that works!

I learned this from hunting friends. ( no we do not hunt ) Mix salt and water. Apply to blood spot and let soak. Then rub the salt gently. Rinse. It should be gone. Always works for me as long as it has not been washed yet.
