To all you Americans, 50% off in Canada means she will only pay about $9-$10 per meter.

If I lived closer I would be right behind you. According to what I am reading here that quilt shop could be really crowded, if we all lived close. LOL

Hey, Piecemaker, what kind of a quilt pattern is that in your pic? Looks like an apple core with something else? I am dying to know. Thanks
    I'd like to know, too.

Absolutely do NOT go! Go do your grocery shopping, get the car washed and filled up, pick up the clothes at the cleaners... oh, what the heck! You may as well stop by to see what they have.

Remember, it is our job to spend to keep the economy going. We create jobs for the store owners, their staff, truck drivers who deliver the fabric to the stores, the mills that make the fabric...and so on. It is patriotic to support these stores. At least that is what I tell my DH. LOL
That is a good one!! I never thought of ot that way!!

Go for it and just spend wisely. Get what you know you will use, and then you won't feel so guilty spending that money. Hubby won't mind either when you tell him how much you saved....after all you could have bought the same amount of fabric at the regular prices. Just don't hoard fabric....use it to it's full potntial.

Unfortunately, the prices will go up so take advantage of anything on clearance, sales or reductions. It's the best way to stretch your dollar.

Well I'm home!!! So here is what I got. about 15 yards of fabric for $110. All were batiks so that was pretty good. I have all the fabrics for the Glacier Star pattern. And then about $90 dollars at 2 other quilt stores that we stopped at.
