Don't think of the money spent but of the money SAVED. Remember, prices will be jumping up very soon due to cotton crop losses, fuel costs for transportation of goods....etc. You'll kick yourself later if you don't stock up.

First ask yourself, can I afford to go on a shopping spree? If so then how much can you afford to spend? Once you decide how much you can afford then only take cash with you, leave credit and debit cards at home. Now if you do not have to worry about finances then go have yourself a blast and remember to share your new stuff with those of us who can't go shopping so we can tell you how jealous we are. LOL!! :-)

The local LQS here is having a big sale this weekend as well. I've asked myself, what do I need??? I don't NEED anything. I have enough UFOs that I shouldn't have to buy anything for a year. I'm the one that buys when I have a need.... I don't need a closet full of fabric with no purpose in mind. I have a half closet of fabric already. So am I going to the sale???..... probably not. ..... and there will be another sale at another time.... when I am looking for a specific fabric for a specific quilt.

    Sorry...... I'm odd but ..... I think I'll pass!!

ok I will say it.. DONT GO TO THAT SALE but you will be kicking yourself in the rear if you do not go. Heck I would be the first one in line if my LQS had another 50 % off sale. Take only cash and set your limit then you wont be kicking yourself in the butt.

If it was me I would pass "NOT". LOL, I would be the first in line only to do a little window shop that would be my store and I would stick to it. You know that fabric jumps in your cart and you could not put it back.  Go for it!!!!! You will get some great deals.

you are looking at this from the wrong perspective--my grandmother would tell you to look at how much you saved! She NEVER thought of a sale item as money spent--only money saved!!

We're a bunch of enablers here. Any of us would happily be your shopping buddy for this one.
