Shhhhh.... Don't tell anyone... I'm working madly at getting 12 blue and white star blocks done.

I figure if I can finish them in the next week, that gives plenty of time to get them posted over to you guys. BUT, no promises! If I don't make it, I'm going to be gutted. Work commitments are massive at the moment, I'm working long hours, so am trying to squeeze in some sewing at night.

It would be so exciting to be involved in this, an international block exchange.

Good God, I hope I can make it on time, I have only 2 blocks done, and my sewing machine broke last weekend!
I'm waiting for the new one to come in tomorrow, and I see myself frantically sewing on Sunday, lol!

I FINALLY found a pattern that I like and am going to start mine this weekend!! I always need a looming deadline to get me going. Can you say "procrastination"?!?!?! :shock:

What did you decide on??? Cant wait to see a sample!!!!!! Hint, hint!!!!!

I already have the 1st set done.. there is a picture of it here somewhere... and I am over half way thru the second set!!!!

And YES it is WONDERFUL being here alone!!

I picked up my new machine this evening, so I will be working on my blocks tomorrow!

I'm on a roll! I've done two since this morning, so I have three made, nine left. My first one I posted a while back was just a sample, and while it is nice, the fabric wasn't pre-washed and I don't have enough of it to go around, so I can't include it.

It is called Christmas Star .. I have no idea what web site I got it from. They had it done in Christmas colors and wellllll I needed blue and white!

Wow. I want the pattern for that. It's great.

I am off to the post office this morning!

That is gorgeous Dawn!! I am off this morning too--but to the quilt shop for more fabric! I am not ready to go to the post office yet!! I am starting to feel the pinch here!!!!

I finally got my blocks sent out this morning!!! Now I can't wait to get them back!!

We have about 2 1/2 weeks to get the blocks turned in!!!!!! And in case anyone missed on the first post, the sets will be mailed back out to us by March 15.

You are going to think I am awful. Did I sign up for this exchange? I have been away from the boards since mid December. I need to catch up on a different exchange. Now that I see this title, I think I signed up for it too.

I will get them started right away. I hope all my quilting friends can forgive me, I have been dealing with family issues.
