I have put a plastic straw over the spindle and put the cone on it. It works good in a pinch.

I use a table top Christmas tree ornament holder purchased for $2. It looks like everything shown, the cone sits in the circle area and the thread just runs through the little star hook at the top. The cone already stands by itself, I don't need anything to run up through it.

Connecting Threads. I know because I've been trying to decide whether it's worth the cost. I love the Art Deco look of it.

NO they don't fit BUT what I did was get one of those wood paper towel holders at the Goodwill the ones that hold the towels upright. put your spool of thread on the small wood stick. take a stiff wire make a hook and drill a small hole for the wire into the large wood stick for the thread to go in. it works great :!: 8-) 8-)use old wire hanger :-D icon17 Lori Kayser

I just put cones behind my machine in a coffee can
I bought a diddlybob (or something that sounds like that) which fits over spool prong and takes larger spools that otherwise flop around. |
You can put your cone of thread in a coffee cup, tape a medium size safety pin to the back upper right edge of your machine (be sure it clears your fly wheel)and run the thread through the round part of the safety pin and then through the thread guides. It works for me.

I put all my thread cones and spools in a jar in back of my machine. Works gret.

I have a banana holder for mine. Works great!
