I haven't made one yet but had thought about it. Here in FL it is just too warm to always have a spread on the bed and the bed runner would make the bed look nice when the spread is too heavy. Must give one a try after the holidays

Mine too. My feet are always cold for the longest time after I go to bed, even with wool socks. So I'm making myself a Christmas present of a bed runner. Real heavy and with extra down from a sleeping bag found at a thrift store. I want my feet WARM, now that I sleep alone. It will match the blue crazy quilting of the bed quilt itself, and the pillow cases.

No, I don't. Seem like just a bothersome extra "thing" to have to deal with.

We do this for table runners, never gave bed runners much thought before.
Anyone?

I saw these at the Ritz Carlton about 3 years ago when we went there for our youngest sons wedding. I plan to make some oneday, just have gotten A ROUND TUIT! lol :-D

Being in Fla too I agree, and think it gives the bed a casual elegance that you cannot get from sheets alone. :-D

I am making one for my daughter room in our new house. My profile pic is the pattern. I made the curtains from the dark brown and used the grommets to hang them from a thinner rod. Good luck Wish I had more time now that I have to work full time it doesnt leave much time for quilting.
