No, I don't quilt or sew on Sunday. I love having one day when I can relax from the cares of the world and enjoy my church and my family.

Just depends on my mood! My grandmother had the same saying -- and you absolutely should not start a new project on Sunday.

I do! It is my relaxation time!

I do. Sewing and quilting are things I love to do.

This original post sounds just like my Mom except she even said last week said, "You GROCERY SHOP on Sunday." I slipped and mentioned it. She is 93 and believes Sunday is the Sabbath and you rest all day. That's how we were brought up but I now have more understanding about Sunday and resting, so I quilt, LOL.

Absolutely! It's therapy and fun ANY day of the week!

I am christian and you are supposed to rest on the sabbath.
Sewing and quilting are not working unless that is the business that you are in, sewing for a living. I sew for pleasure anytime and any day.

some religions say you cannot work on the sabbath.some have the sabbath on saturday and some on sunday.
I quilt whenever I like or have the time or inclination.

My mom said the same thing! Yep, we'll be getting to handle a quilt in heaven, too. :)
