I solved the problem 8 years ago. I do not use the foot pedal. I only use the start/stop button. I'm not being
snarky with my answer, I'm just saying this is the ONLY thing that has worked for me.

I can not keep my foot pedal to stay in place either, I have tried everything. I have a painted concrete floor and nothing will stick or keep it in one place.

I have tile floors and the shelf liner helps but still pedal scoots around.

I have tile floors also and the thin liner isn't working. Will look for some of the thicker stuff.

The liner quality makes the difference. The thin flimsy plastic stuff won't work. I have smooth ceramic tile in my sewing room. I use the thick liner under my pedal and it works fine.

I am so very tired of trying to keep that thing from scooting all over.....It sits on a cement floor..I have tried industrial strength Velcro, scrap of carpeting, even tied it to the leg of my table with a " leash" like a dog.....still keep skootching....my older Viking foot pedal...bigger...stays put...this little thing has feet, I swear! Saw something on Pinterest....again, there......uses 2 layers of that non stick shelf stuff, cut a bit bigger, bound with fabric (2 1/2")strip.....before I do it, does it work? Anyone tried that? Or what is your solution? Yes, I have the start/stop button...never got into that, but may be last resort......

I'll be watching this. I've bought two foot pedal stands that were supposed to work. The last one slides all over the place, even though it has little "spikes" sticking out from it.

Sometimes mine scoots far enough away that my foot can't reach it.

I also got the Martelli pad during 50% off sale. It does work very well. The pedal would still move but only about 1/2" during a full day of sewing.

I set my foot pedal on a piece of non-slip shelf lining. It works great for me.

Hi all! I've been gone awhile but am back :)

I have a tile floor. I pit a piece of sticky back Velcro on the floor and petal. No more sliding. Good news is when going to retreats or the such, if the floor is carpeted the pedal will stick well enough while I'm there!

I used Velcro works great
