Thank you so much for sharing these great pictures. It has put my stash in perspective. DH did get a laugh at the pictures. I have to repeat "Do Not Buy Any More Fabric" and keep these pictures in my memory bank.

Oh my goodness. She must have felt she was in a candy store everyday, How fun.... I would be so overwhelmed it would take me weeks to pick material for a table topper. :)

I was afraid to look too closely at the photos for fear I'd see something I need...

But I'm with King's Daughter, I feel like I have no fabric at all.

I also feel like I want to keep it under control, can you imagine the work that went into preparing all that for sale? I wouldn't wish that on my relatives.

I can see why they sold the fabrics last. Anyone who wasn't interested in that would not have stayed for the furniture etc.

So true, I don't have a place to store it all.

I am in awe at this women's ability to turn out quilts as is obvious by the quilts hanging in the background in some of the pics. I am also wondering if she gave them to homeless shelters, womens shelters, hospitals, charities, friends, neighbors, relatives, and if she quilted for fun or profit. More than likely for fun and had a ball doing it. I do not see that she was a hoarder. Hoarders are much different. I wonder also, how much may have been given to her. Many of us have a stash, but how many quilts do we actually turn out in a years time? Probably does not hold a candle to this women. We must not be so quick to judge. Besides, think of the fun all the folks who bought will have making things with what she left behind. She was definitley smiling down from the heavens that day. What fun.

She quilted for her family, friends, and donated them - she didn't make any money off them - it was her passion.
