People love hideous colors nowdays. I think some white or floral should tone it down abit. You might try that. I like the blocks, myself. I think they would look great in a kids quilt. You might even applique some little animals or ballons or something on to draw attention off the yellow.

Well -every thing old is new again- take a block with all 4 colors back out to Hancocks or WalMarts I'll bet you will find those colors in quite a few printed fabrics especially WM s marked downs I needed some brites for a baby quilt sashing and borders and Wally had the better selection

Why not use your machine to do lines of embroidery over the offending colours to make them look better? You could always fussy cut some blue flowers/hearts/stars etc. and applique them to the blocks to embellish them a bit. Then try steel grey or black for the sashing. (Just my suggestions).

Actually, I really like red and yellow together.

I was going to suggest hot pink. Make it a BRIGHT quilt. If you don't love it. I'm sure someone will!

Now, I think this is an adorable quilt. Do something like this and it becomes a work of art. Or, I would go with a child's fabric as suggested and give it to a child. I really like the blocks you've made.

Would white or black tone it down with sashing??? ;-)

"Bright" blocks can be fun. Play with some bright colors for a sashing. I would use some bright blue and use the same for a border.
