I sew sew. Mainly for my nieces and a friend who is a curvy size 4 and cannot find good fitting clothes.

I have sewn for years. Made a lot of my own clothes in high school and college. Made my own wedding dress, made my daughters prom dresses and lots of clothes for her. I also make her a lot of skirts because it is so much cheaper, and the fabric choices are much more fun. A lot of other clothes are cheaper to buy than make.

I used to make most of my clothes and shirts and things for the rest of the family.

I'm a professional seamstress, also design, draft and grade patterns. (Hence my handle...) David, holler at me (via PM) if you have any questions once you get going. The modern commercial patterns are pretty easy to follow, step-by-step, but if you need any help, just ask...

I had a roaring trade making blouses for larger ladies. Most patterns or off the rack clothes don't fit people of generous proportions, so I design bits and pieces to drape properly,as I learnt to draft in school.I now just relax and quilt.

Hi David, I used to do a lot of sewing clothes when my daughter was a baby and then through elemetary school, but since then I basically quilt, do some beading and embroidery pieces. You will be happy to know that my dad sewed a lot. He was an engineer who had a dressmaker for a mom so he loved it and thought it was relaxing.

i occasionally sew. Made my GS a t-shirt last year for his b'day. Embroidered a fish on it as he like to fish. He is 6'3" so shirts are short on him.

My two daughters, and 3 grandsons are going to hike on the Appalachian trail and want me to make shirts for all of them. Sometimes I quilt--mostly I read this board.
