How about using Elenaor Burns pattern - Country Lanes. It's in the book "Quilting Through the Seasons". I've made several of these and with this fabric you could use a black backgroud with red and green - right shades of course - for the other colors. It would be so pretty. Matter of fact I think I have this same fabric and I just might give it a try.

Here is a picture of a quilt that I made using the E Burns quilt that I had mentioned a few minutes ago. This is my first picture to post so we'll see how it goes.

You could do a basket and place the roses in it appliques the roses and making different blocks I know this would probably waste alot of fabric but you could use the rest for scrap quilts or for a border on the quilt

Glad you like it too. It is probably my favorite pattern. I've made "at least" 7 or 8 King size ones and I have no idea how many of the throws. I've made 2 full bed size ones just this past week. For some reason I never get tired of making this pattern. They are all so very different - depending on the main fabric.
