I like your mistake. Very nice! Reminds me of 'Riding the Rapids'. That's what I'd name it.

Love the mistake. Looks it more turbulent - really gives it a lot of motion.

Just one thing. I think that typically this block is constructed about 12". I made it 24" to make it go together faster. Storm at Sea patterns and directions can be found very easily on the internet. Don't know what you should call it but I really like the first one. Like someone said it has more movement. They're both great though. More than I would tackle. Post a pic when you get the fabric one finished
