I've never used even One, but see lots of them talked about here. I understand the fact you can use them as a quick Quilt project to learn on but after that they seem useless to me. why not make lap size ones and donate to a charity? Lori K. 8-) |
I use them everywhere in my house. And I gift them a lot. They are usually quick and fun and you can learn a lot of new blocks with them.

I love tablerunners. I use quite a few of them on the wall as well as they work great for those skinny walls such as between a window & a fireplace. We have a large entertainment center with a big screen tv sitting in between the 2 sections with a bridge holding the 2 sections together. My dh came up with a great idea this yr for Christmas. We put one of them up on the wall in the area created by the 2 sides of the entertainment center, the tv & the bridge (picture a big square of wall). Then we put up Christmas knickknacks on top of the tv and it really turned out nice. It looks so good it is still hanging there as the fabrics don't look just like Christmas fabrics. I wish there was a way I could post a pic to show you all what I'm talking about!

I like them, when is just my husband and I home now for dinner we sit at counter, so I keep runner or table topper on table with candle or bowl of fruit or something. Looks pretty.

I love em. They really add something to a table in mho.

I have a round glass table and need something like this to help protect the glass. And matching place mats with matching curved bottom to match the curve of the table. I hate to hear a loud clink when setting cups or glasses down on the glass table.

I just made a braided tablerunner in a couple days. I make them for home decor. Put me in the mood to quilt again.
