I actually have a friend that has one she inherited from her grandmother. It is a beautiful machine. I know it needed to be worked on but I think she is thrilled with it. What a wonderful daughter. What a wonderful gift.

From what I could search out on the Internet, this is a 1919 model made for the Red Cross. I think it was made by Singer. Ebay is selling an advertisement about it right now if you wish to look at the picture and try to read the ad.

There are a lot of badged machines out there. It will be interesting to see what you can track down on this one. Too bad its so hard to follow the history of these old machines

I read somewhere (maybe by lostn51) that Singer never did machines for badging by others. Some of the other companies did, and most machines of that vintage look very similar to the untrained eye. Post it in the vintage machines section and see what comes back. You might also PM lostn51. He's really good at this stuff. Anyway, your machine is a beauty.
