Quilting "off and on" for 8 years....

This question has no One-size-fits-all answer. Although I've sewn since I was 7, I made my first quilt 35 years ago. I began hand quilting 23 years ago. I've been longarm quilting for 2 years.
Compute that! LOL

I made my first quilt 60 years ago, then had to slow down to raise a family and work. Have made over 120 quilts since I retired 21 years ago.

My first quilt was 38 years ago and it was a mess! Then I started again about 17 years ago. In that time I probably average about 3 a year. And I have the fabric and ideas for about 100 more! If I can only die when all my projects are complete, I will live forever!

I have been quilting for about 3 years. I started at our church joining the East Jefferson Quilters Guild. I didn't realize it would be so habit forming. When I learn how to post pictures I will post some. Still learning but enjoy my quilting.
