Ive been 39 for a very long time LOL

Jshep 04-28-2011 04:58 AM

59. Tell him age is just a number and quit using the sugar high as an excuse. That would be like us saying all men who like fishing are old coggers.

marylynspr 04-28-2011 05:01 AM

Age, religion, politics, and weight are not approved topics for ladies of quality...and you are as old as you think you are...

sassyg 04-28-2011 05:01 AM

62 and wearing it well; only thing that gets old is MEN and money :)

Shirlx 04-28-2011 05:02 AM

I am 72 and have only been quilting for about 5 years. If I live long enough to use my stash I will live to 150.

JANICE E. 04-28-2011 05:02 AM

Ok I started at 63 now 64. Please let us know the out come on average age. THank you

grannie cheechee 04-28-2011 05:02 AM

I'm 29 with 41 yrs. experience. It does sound better than 70. I don't feel 70 most days. People aren't as old now as earlier yrs. It just seemed that when you got to be a certain age you were considered "old", and in your mind you felt old. Hope that made sense. LOL

littlesister 04-28-2011 05:03 AM

62 and I just started quilting last year.

Donna Mae 04-28-2011 05:07 AM

ruck9085 04-28-2011 05:11 AM

69 but don't feel it and am young at heart. I also will be curious to the average age as my son was looking at the avatars one day and mentioned everyone was old. Not sure what he considers old as he is pushing 47.

LovinMySoldier 04-28-2011 05:12 AM

I'm 25. Did anyone find an average age?

janjj 04-28-2011 05:14 AM

42 here.... and yea my sugar isn't that great either right now!
been sewing since 6th grade!

MrsLouise 04-28-2011 05:16 AM

Quilting can start at any age. I started at about 10 years old observing and threading needles. I am 76 and still going strong. Start a hobby when you are young and then you will have it perfected when you age. Louise

Mona Marie 04-28-2011 05:16 AM

I am 29 and holding....for 30 years. Age is in the mind not the heart.

Chris Kieffer 04-28-2011 05:17 AM

Almost 45, but some days my body feels like 90, does that count? LOL....

Patty Patches 04-28-2011 05:17 AM

Grandma Peg 04-28-2011 05:19 AM

59, so I am an old lady. But your age is really how old you feel, some days it's 40 and others 80. lol

SandraD 04-28-2011 05:19 AM

I'm 47 and my daughter, who also quilts is 25. She began quilting before me! I guess you could say she kind of got me started.

lillybeck 04-28-2011 05:20 AM

I am glad to hear that I am not the only one with out of whack sugar this last few days. My husband is worth than me. lol
I am 64 and proud of it.

Robinmg 04-28-2011 05:20 AM

54 years young

ellenmg 04-28-2011 05:21 AM

I will be 60 tomorrow. I go to the gym 3 times a week, do my own gardening, own and use a chain saw. I have been quilting since I was a child, originally with my grandmother....
And so what if some of us are "old ladies"? We are creative, inspired and inspiring, energetic and darn it, we are a fun bunch!

pahappel 04-28-2011 05:21 AM
