If I am at home, I am barefooted..........

No show either, I need to feel the pedal. I have been to a class and the instructor had heels on and sewing. That just blew my mind.

I'm the same way. It is either bared or socked even when I go to a charity all day event. In that case when I am not home, I have some sort of slip on shoes that comes off when it is time to sit down and work. If I need to go iron or what not, the shoes just slip back on just in case of someone leaving something sharp on the floor.

I can't sew with shoes at all. EVen when I test the machines in the store, off comes the right shoe! I also rarely wear any shoes or slippers in the home. I think this comes from my dad, who spent time in Japan.

Count me in the 'shoeless' column.

Same here.

Usually no shoes, but if not just flip flops.

I can sew with or without shoes on. Depends on where my cockatoo is at the time. Had them off yesterday & he bit my heel so I had to clean up blood off the carpet, wash my compression sock & then stitch up the hole he made in it. He's sneaky & tries to build a nest under my chair, then gets aggressive if I move. He got a "Time Out" yesterday until he calmed down.

Same for me. I drive my machine with no shoe.
