here is a bad example of what to shoot for with the pin, it would be hard to make sure that you are in the exact same spot every layer that you put the pin through

so then I am all pinned, I don't tend to use a lot of pins, feel free to use as many as you need to,

My selvedge edges line up really nice, but my bottoms are lopsided....just like me LMBO
this is really odd on how each repeat on my fabric is offset 1/2" so every other strip is 6" wide and the other one is 6 1/2" :roll:

That's what I did, I went for the end of a leaf, the corner of the stripe at the same side. Not fast at it but steady!

CB - quick question: Do you pin through all 6 layers or just 2?

if this is all that you have, this is the size that I would cut the pieces, it will give you your 6 repeats

I marked the section I would use

Yes, fine a spot where there's two angles coming together or V, that's easy to find and stick the pin thru that exact spot, on each layer of fabric.
