Thank you Sharon, I still am undecided - I just cannot imagine how to put these all together. Guess that will be part of the fun or frustration! If you turn the triangles within each individual set of 6 you get even more options. Oh my - this will be a challenge to say the least. I can't wait to get more cut and see what happens. Love everyones blocks so far.

Some beautiful blocks! Everyone is doing so great. And although this thread is entitled 'cutting' some of you are sewing already!

I'd say another one of the hard parts of this method is to decide which way to have the triangle face to make the hexagon. As you said, you can turn the triangle one time and get another totally different pattern. I preview mine with a hinged mirror, before deciding which way to make a set of triangles. You'll probably still be surprised tho, in the end. There's no right or wrong way to do it, as well as no right or wrong way to arrange them on the design wall.

I used my mirror once I had the triangles cut so I could see which of the three designs I liked best. I haven't tried to group or sew them since I was waiting for instruction. I have an idea about putting the darker colors in one corner and grading them up toward the lighter ones (does that make sense?).
Well, I'll be (not so) patiently waiting :) :)
