Make skirts or little girl dresses. I have seen quilts made out of it, but they are heavy and hard to quilt.

A few years ago I brought two boxes of the stuff to a charitable organization ( a diner that feeds the unfortunate) for their monthly garage sale. I wish you could have seen the eyes on the ladies who accepted the fabric. By the time I left, some of them had already set it aside to buy for their own stash. Hilarious!

my friend uses them to make bowls and hot mats..........the uglier the fabric the prettier the item actually turns out! they are cut about 1" strips.......so you lose ugly-to service. She can't keep up to the demand.

I have made toy bags using this polyester. Cut 5 or 6 inch pieces from many different colors and sew them 5 blocks across and 6 blocks down. (Make 2, front and back). Lined them with muslin or any fabric add a casing in the top. Thread a heavy cord throught the casing so the bag can be closed. These bags are washable, they wear like iron and hold alot of toys.

I "inherited" several yards of polyester fabric from my step-grandmother when she passed away. I used it for a backing on a quilt to be used at the beach. It was awesome! The sand shook right off! I loved using polyester for heavyduty quilts.

Take the horrible stuff to your nearest charity shop and rejoice!

My first husband had an aunt that made quilts with that stuff from old pantsuits. They were so durable! My daughter had one from her that was so ugly but she absolutely loved it. Unfortunately it got burned in a car fire. She wasn't in the car and no one got hurt.
