I don't know anything about quilting rules. I just do whatever someone on this board tells me I need to do when I ask for help. So far, it's worked everytime.

I don't pin as much as most, I don't always prewash, and I tend to make my own patterns vs following one. And If I do follow a pattern ---- I tend to change it.

Same here, it's really not much fun to always follow a pattern.....
