I like simplicity, and hate long winded directions.

We must be sisters! I almost always "fix" patterns. I can't tell you how many times I've redrafted patterns and rewritten the instructions because the designer over complicated it. I even fixed the D9P!! Why make a block and then cut it up when you can just strip piece it to start with.

I don't pin as much as most, I don't always prewash, and I tend to make my own patterns vs following one. And If I do follow a pattern ---- I tend to change it.

My grandma taught me to follow all the rules of proper methods for making a quilt. Then I found out all grandma's don't have the same rules. :lol

I "rip" out seams that are in error. I do NOT "unsew"!!!!!!

I rarely make bias binding anymore!

That is probably why I end up modifying most patterns or making up my own.

Sometimes, I don't close my rotary cutter blade the instant the cut is compete, but I do chide myself on that.

I used to forget some times to close it instantly well after one time cutting myself I always shut it now
