Look up Missouri Star Quilt Company and see You Tube for directions. Only takes 3/4 yd of main fabric, 9 inches of part of trim and 2-3 inches (I like 3) for narrow trim. Fast and easy.

The pillowcase pattern is the one I referred too, thought it would run next to lady wanting pattern.
See Missouri Star Quilt Company for tube directions for pillowcase pattern (fast and easy!) |

I'm into making door quilts for my front door. I'm aiming at doing one for each month of the year. My goal is to make a statement that "a quilter lives here". Future projects include Pat Halvorsen's calendar quilts.

How do you get them to hang on the door?

I am making a quilt with ten minute squares. They go fast and are pretty. You can find them by just typing in "ten minute squares" and there is a tutorial.

Lots of different ideas to this post, all are interesting!

I think she is talking about the tube pillowcases. I love to make them! Great for gifts! Missouri Star Quilt Co. has a good tutorial on YouTube. You sew it all together, then turn it, and it all done except the side and bottom. If you make french seams, all the seams are finished and enclosed. Hopte this helps.

I would like to see more charity quilts made. We have stashes and plenty of scraps. Lets use up some of those scraps we all have. There are so many organizations that can use quilts.
