I can see that an embroidery machine is on "my" list.

I'm making me a tablecloth. Plans are Thanksgiving on one side and Christmas on the other. WIP Thanksgiving side laid cut and half sewn. Christmas side is still in my dreams. It will be simple. Finishing a quilt for one grandson. then we will see what's next.

I made all 16 grand children a quilt a year or 2 ago, so this year will be a bit less. I've bought bright colored terry hand towels and have used my embroidery machine to put their monogram on along with something they are interested in - one grandson gets a drum embroidered on his towel, another a racing bike. A grand daughter who is on the women's ice hockey team at her college gets an embroidered female hockey player on her towel. But what do I do for my kids?? I'm at a loss and there is not much time left!!!

I love your hanging. It would also look good as a table runner and place mats. Do you have a pattern for this? Would you post it, or the instructions? I would love to make it.

here is where I got it...go to the bottom of the page and download......hope this helps.

I started the scrap quilt for my father-in law- a lap quilt for a big man-45 X64) I am using snowball nine-patch for the middle and then making 4-patch and 9-patch borders. It is navy, goldish, white and dark, royal blue/beige/white stripe-all scraps.
Boy, the dotted swiss navy and the goldy corners really is bright!
2 more squares to quilt to be done with my grandson's bear quilt, then binding and send. Since everything was from yard sales or leftovers except the binding, the shipping costs more than the whole quilt!
The name of the runner pattern-is Crazy Loon! Fits. I thought I had made it up-haha.

Kathy,

What is the fun and done method?? :?: Never heard of that one. Also, is #2, #4 a certain pattern? Sounds interesting, let us know.
