If you like to spend time quilting or exploring this web site, don't buy things for the house that you have to dust.

Buy a 1/4" quilting foot. It works wonderfully well for keeping a 1/4" seam.

Along that same line, someone posted to keep a container of 1.5" or 2" scrap squares by the sewing machine & sewing them together as you need a "leader or ender" - - It's like making 2 quilts at one time. THAT was a great idea, and one I never would have thought of on my own. I use leaders and enders but not being one to waste things, throwing away little scraps bothered me, not any more! |
