First is my obsession with buying fabric, patterns, & books. My kids call me the gadget lady. LOL! Next I am a perfectionist. It has to be near perfect or I ripit, ripit, ripit. Now the secrets are out.

Flaws? What? I have no flaws. Just ask my DH. He says it to me all the time...

"Oh sure honey, and you have no flaws...."

But he has a funny tone to his voice when he says it....huh...

My worst flaw if that I criticise myself too harshly. I think I have to be absolutely perfect when it comes to quilts even if I'm just making extra pot holders for our kitchen. But knowing your worst flaw and stopping it are 2 completely different things.

i have a few flaws with my quilting but the big flaw is buying more fabric when I have told myself, "no more fabric buying"

My worst flaw (right now... you see they change!) is that I spend too much @#$%^& time on this quilting board and haven't sewn a stitch on my 3 WIPs or any of the other sewing projects I've got in the works. lol...

Wait, why the heck am I joining yet another thread here???? Oh! Because I learn so much and have so much fun!

My flaw is I can't say no. I always have way too much going on like now, crossstitching for three people,. hand quilting for another, being on the QB so much, mom wants to go to the casino, etc. However, as far as flaws in quilting, my bindings, those are not so good. The corners are never perfect. I try and try. I have bought miter things, etc. Just not happening. My other flaw is my sewing room....enough said on that. ROFL

I absolutely NEVER have flaws in my fabric work.

Although I do admit to some cherished personal and distinctively
creative differences in sewing!!

Amen! I love the planning stage and the getting started stage, but if I don't have a deadline, I don't finish the project. The doll quilts have been great because I actually finish them, as do the round robins and row robins because I have to get them sent off, but all other projects end up in tubs and bags... for "someday." I even bought a mid-arm and frame that can do all the way up to a king-sized quilt and in over two years, I haven't touched it. I am thinking I might end up selling it and using the money to buy a really nice embroidery machine upgrade instead. That way, I can keep doing little projects and get them done!

needing to "unsew" the same mistake---more than once!
