I put Pam's name on her quilt and it is never coming off. She said her little granddaughter loves the quilt, so Pam just points out her name and that settles the ownership.
The patterns for the letters are from quilters cache.
I sent some to a member of the QB for one of her quilts.
They go together pretty quickly. If you want them a little larger (like I did) just cut the outside piece wider.

we attach a label to the back of the quilt. My sister and I use our embrodier machine and put something cute on it.
Then we write...".With love and comfort" and our org. name

yeah NO! There is no way on this green earth that I would put my name on a quilt that is going wherever a foster child goes, exp if there is a possiblity that he could go back to his bio-family! Let me tell you these families are NEVER happy that a foster family has their child and although the foster family has no say in the childs future they don't see it that way and they hold grudges! I have taken care of foster kids for MANY years. A friend of my family has always had foster children with different medical needs, and there is NO WAY I would allow the bio-family to know ANYTHING about me!
Anyways to the OP, Good luck with your quilt!
