Question regarding pictures.

I've asked this question for ages. I see from the responses that some make up the pattern themselves. If so maybe stating that its their design; or if they did a combo of different blocks; maybe that would help others design something they could call theirs.

Most of the quilts I have posted are really scrappy and made up of squares and rectangles. No pattern, just made up as I go. If it is from a particular block, I specify (like the ten minute block).

Rarely do I follow a pattern completely. And rarely do I go buy yardage to make a quilt. There's enough fabric in my stash that I'll never live long enough to use it all. So posting who made the fabric would be useless, it would be so out of date.
Guess we could say.. started out as a "log cabin" block, then mutated.

I make most of my quilts by looking at others and doing the math to figure out the pattern. Hence, no name. But mine are usually quite simple.

No matter where the idea for a pattern comes from it is nice to know the source even if the creation is not exactly the same. It can be a starting point for other people to get creative too. If a pattern is an original creation, great.
I would PM anyone for source and sharing info.
