YES! I have a big trunk.

My car does, too.

My first quillow was at 10 and my first full-sized quilt was a courthouse steps when I was 24 or 25. My parents still have it.

If that brings down the average at all. ;)

59 pushing 60 and proud of it....does DH need a need some straightening? There is never and old lady...just refined and mellowed, like a fine wine. :D

57 going on 58 in less than 3 weeks. Started sewing at 12. My youngest son made his first quilt at 9 (he's now 23) and although my middle son, 28, does not quilt he does sew. Makes his own curtains, table runners and placemats. My DH used to say I hang with old ladies. Now I hang with both younger and older and my DH loves it when they come to sew because they bring food. They even put together a great basket of goodies for him for Christmas to show their appreciation. Tell your husband he needs to embrace all quilters both young and old.

I will leave this up for a day and then tally everyone's age! This is actually fun.

Okay I will be 56 in July and I have been quilting since the big Y2K scare. Not that has anything to do with it just helps me remember when I finished my first quilt. I had been working by hand on a lap sized crazy quilt for two years by then. And I have a quote you might share with your husband on his sugar high from one diabetic to another...."I have PMS and a handgun. Any questions?" Tell him to be a good little Qubby and be supportive of his quilter or these crazy ladies from all over the globe are offering to visit him!!! LOL
