I usually just iron freezer paper to the wrong side of white muslin, put a piece of lined notebook paper behind that, hold everything up to the window so I can see the lines, and, using a permanent type pen, write my info. But I've also used the fabric kind that come on a roll.

if i could remember to put it on before quilting, i would! most times i remember to add one.
i have added it to the corner, sewn on with the binding on two sides..the other sides i use a fabric glue or or the iron on stuff for the rest of it.
that is, IF i remember.

I add on almost all, I just made a quilt for a friend to give to someone else. I didn't put a label on that one. I make my own labels I will make up a small label to match the front.

I just found that June Tailor's website has quilt labels you can print onto fabric and use. I think they're free too!
There could be other sites too.
When I'm ready to label this king size quilt I've been working on (if I live that long...lol) I'm going to try one of these.
