I would not use the orange. Like someone said I would use it for the label if you are putting a label on it.

The orange has meaning for you. It would be fine if there were more of them. At least three. Five sprinkled around would be better. Find another soft orange to add to the colorway, then put the two hanky pieces toward the center and three of the other orange sprinkled around closer to the edges.

If you decide to leave the orange, you could use an idea from interior design. Interior designers are taught to keep accents in odd numbers. Sprinkle another one or three in there's?

I would take the orange out. It is very distracting and draws the eye to it. Your quilt is very nice and relaxing very much like reading a good book. I like the idea to use the orange for the label. Another idea is use the orange on a matching pillow.

I would either remove the orange or add at least three more. I think it is only having a couple that makes them stand out rather than be a design element.

I like everything except the orange, too. Just too different.

Although pretty, I think I would pull out the orange ones as they really pop out against all the blues and greens. Pretty quilt though.
