quilting supplies from Lowe's!
#12
Thanks for the suggestions. I have been eyeing them and trying to figure out what I needed that for, as I was sure I "needed" at least one of these for something! I had seen something on making totes from them. I bought canvas one year and made fire wood carries for friend and family using the webbed flat stapping for the handles that went all the way around for extra support....Turned out really nice and much appreciated. Lowes is always on my list for something!

thanks jacqi- you now know there will not be a piece of canvas in a Lowe's within the next 100 miles of me? Kind of like Harbor Freight blades- there will be a run on them. Lucky for you, Lowe's is my favorite store (sorry even more favorite than a quilt shop) and I was going there anyway. Will check this out. I have been using my ironing board with a torn cover for about a year since I didn't know what I wanted to cover it with. Perfect solution- thanks for sharing.

I love going to Lowe's to buy things for my sewing room. Have to admit I hadn't thought of the canvas - thanks for mentioning it. I did buy some plastic guttering to hang on my peg board. It stores the leader grips/yardsticks for my quilt machine. Works great. Who knew they put in a home improvement store just for us quilters!

Hey, I'm ready to go out at 10:00 tonight. Daughter and I will nap while the guys watch football. Then while they are sleeping off the turkey, we will start Black Friday shopping. I will NOT be out at 4:00 however. No body has anything I want that badly!
