quilting tie offs on longarm
Hi, I know I read somewhere that you can use Aleene's Stop Fraying when using a longarm and you cut your threads. I thought it said to thin it a little, of course now that I want to try this I can find the information. Does anyone know about this and/or use this method?

I was shown to take a couple stitches in place while moving the threads back and forth. This secures the stitches and you can trim them close. It is working for me and I wash my quilts regularly.
If you do use fray check, make sure you have removed any markings you have used prior to applying the fray check. If you forget you may seal in the markings.

I would not use anything on quilt. It can leave a mark even after it dries. If your machine lets you put the needle up and down like mine...I use that to take a few stitches back so I can see where the stitches are and put the needle up and down in the exact same holes.
